Description:POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our sales team in strengthening current key business relationships while tapping into new markets to create growth opportunities. The Sales Coordinator will play a supporting role in the organization – focusing on internal back-end sales support, data generation and analysis. Additionally, this position will require cold calling, follow-up, proactive selling, management of key sales initiatives, and supporting accounts and customer relationships. The Sales Coordinator will need to have a strong sense of urgency, strong mechanical skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric attitude. The Sales Coordinator will report directly to the Inside Sales Supervisor.
TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team on setting up product demonstrations with prospective customers and scheduling training after the initial sale.
  • Work closely with the Account Managers to grow their territory and achieve goals.
  • Update Account Managers of all activities in their regions (i.e., quotes, inquiries, orders, complaints) on a daily basis.
  • Assist customers by answering technical questions as well as any additional requests from the field.
  • Prepare quotes for existing and prospective customers, including follow-ups.
  • Place orders and follow through with internal channels to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Advise customers of any lead-time delays or changes.
  • Pursue and follow-up on sales inquiries received from Tri Tool’s website, customer referrals, and other media.
  • Act as the point of contact for special product requests from customers.
  • Make cold calls to prospective customers.
  • Maintain the customer information database.
  • Communicate and work closely with other Sales Coordinators to achieve Company goals.
  • Attend trade shows and annual sales meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of inside sales experience.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to customers and other employees.
  • Experience Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical/hands-on ability in the use of tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, time management, organizational and planning skills, and strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and navigate in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

  • Maneuvering in and around worksite.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Viewing computer screen.
  • Utilizing keyboard.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office as well as a manufacturing and warehouse environment. May be exposed to noise from equipment.
